Esoteric Astrology as news for week December 4-10, 2008

RisaSixty years ago this week, on Dec. 10, 1948, the United Nations General Assembly endorsed the Universal Declaration of Human Right (UDHR), a Sagittarius document with highest ideals for the equality and welfare of humanity. Esoterically, this document recognizes and defines Right Human Relations for humanity and all kingdoms – mineral, planet, animal, human. Written and overseen by Eleanor Roosevelt (see charts) this document was considered of such great importance that President Harry S. Truman referred to Eleanor as the “First Lady of the World.” Eleanor, an early supporter of the creation of the United Nations, had Sagittarius (goals of justice for all) rising, Sun in Libra (Right Human Relations), Cancer Moon (deep care for humanity). The UDHR is the most translated document in the world. From Wikipedia we read, “The Declaration arose directly from the experience of the Second World War (when the atrocities committed by Nazi Germany became apparent) and represents the first global expression of rights to which all human beings are inherently entitled. It consists of 30 articles which have been elaborated in subsequent international treaties, regional human rights instruments, national constitutions and laws.”

Saturday, Dec. 6, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the city of Santa Cruz, the UN Association, Amnesty International and many other organizations are hosting a Human Rights Fair with arts and crafts booths, food, music, drama and presentations by local groups on the relevance of their work on Human Rights. The fair will be held at Louden Nelson Center, 301 Center St., noon to 9 p.m. (after a parade). Our Esoteric & Astrological Studies Institute will have an information table on the inner esoteric aspects of the United Nations. Come and join us, everyone. It’s free. Only those plans will manifest, not our personal ones. So plan big, and then initiate.

Soon, your visions and dreams (even at night they spoke to you) will come into form. What seems like hurdles means the timing isn’t complete yet. Call for workers, resources and money. Try and be a bit more sensitive to others. I know this may be hard, but…

ImageGEMINI: Did something philosophical, historical, or religious stimulate dreams of other worlds, expanded ideas and ways of living that inspire you? Your mind is working overtime. Is it difficult to concentrate? New information on resources and finances is attempting to take hold. Work cooperatively and whatever confusion there is will dissolve (with cooperation) soon.

ImageCANCER: Are you feeling sad, more moody and wondering want you’re doing each day? Things will look up and laughter will soon come your way or at least a bit of joy even though you’re working harder than usual and will continue to for several weeks. Keep legs, knees and thighs massaged and exercised daily. They help you connect to the Earth, Sag’s esoteric ruler. Wear green.

ImageLEO: Something old becomes new, a problem is solved, a situation eased, and your mind figures out (actually it’s impressed from above) a confusing, out of order difficulty. Your creativity is soaring. How are you expressing it? Do you want to travel, write, play music, ride horses and gallop away, summon new goals, stabilize relationships, use money wisely, eat differently? All are opportunities for expansion. Oops! Relationship tumble about.

ImageVIRGO: Families matter. They are our foundation and our future. Sometimes when we are older a group replaces family comforting us more. This is as it should be and it occurs in one lifetime or another. Whatever family means to you, it’s your spiritual foundation, then and now. Religious feelings mingle with feelings for family. Serving them is your greatest task and accomplishment. Eat pomegranates.

ImageLIBRA: Whatever is occurring–work changes, a wound making you unusually creative, needing new direction, seeking greater stability while feeling unmoored and treading water—is purposefully turning you toward a great spiritual direction. There’s so much to say, isn’t there? Great ideas enter your mind providing a more expansive perception. Studying something new reaps benefits in the coming times. What are you interested in?

ImageSCORPIO: With all the turns in your daily life, you wonder what’s real, what stable, what’s the truthful past and is there a future? Nothing at this point is real and stable, the past is quickly dissolving and the future is we together make it to be. That means community, which is your true home even though you’d rather hide away behind a black drape somewhere – which only continues to wound you. Come out, stay out and stand with us. We need the mysterious.

ImageSAGITTARIUS: So, on a white horse you’re galloping toward the future, bow drawn, arrow poised like a light beam toward a mountain, which you’ll climb with expectancy. As home continues to elude you, make where you are your permanent/temporary home because in the coming months different opportunities will emerge and your life will look completely different. Hold on, an expansion’s about to burst out inside.

ImageCAPRICORN: Nighttime dreams carry messages of future events and goals. Long ranging, they may change your mind concerning plans already laid. Money may be an issue again. It’s good to talk about it without judgment or criticism to self or others. It seems time to change your neighborhood in some way. Think of the wisest and moist sustainable future you can imagine. There are two choices. One is best.

ImageAQUARIUS: Thoughts keep running through your mind. Do keep a journal or notebook returning to these ideas later. Whatever you begin now or expand upon will be fruitful and successful. There will however be great amounts of work. Energy (action) expends (creates) energy. In your moments of having nothing to do, plan and plant a garden of edibles. You need something else to nurture.

ImagePISCES: It’s time for others to know about you, no matter what it is you do in your daily life. Your Pisces gifts and abilities are needed. Where can you disperse them? What interests you deeply enough that you become involved? Where do you feel confidence and what are your skills. The planets are all pointing to community involvement, either intentional community or a town council. Pisces, world saviors, are special people. That’s you!
