Adding Your Business to Our Website | Print |  E-mail

Building your own promotional website on gtweekly.com is easy as 1-2-3!

Step 1: Log on to www.gtweekly.com

    
If you have not registered yet, click on the "Members Area" tab at the top of the page. Click 'register' and enter your information as prompted, then verify your e-mail by clicking on the link in the message we send. You will now be able to log in.

Step 2: Add your page

    
Go to Everything Santa Cruz . Click the “Add Entry” link and fill out the form.

• Fields marked by a star are required in order for the Google Maps feature to work.
• Your e-mail will be made with a spam-safe link and be displayed as “e-mail” to protect your privacy.
• Please include “http://” in the website field for a link to publish.
• Use the description field to give readers an idea of your business. Basic formatting is available, with different size fonts, bold and italic, and simple lists and links, similar to a Microsoft Word document. Simply highlight the word or area you want to apply formatting to, and click the appropriate button.
• If your gallery serves food or drink, feel free to include your menu in that field.
• Logos must be a JPG file less than 300kb in size.
• Select a background color (a preview will appear beneath)
• Choose up to 5 categories for your business. To add a category, select it from the list, then click the >>> button. To remove a category, select it from the right-hand list and click the <<< button.
• You may upload up to 10 photos. Images must be JPG files less than 1 MB in size.
• Enter the safety code as shown, then click Send.

Step 3: Update and edit your page as desired


When you are logged in, you’ll notice that the entry you created will have two buttons on it: ‘edit’ and ‘delete’. You can click ‘edit’ to make any changes you’d like to any of the information, add a new picture, change the background color of your entry, etc. If you would like to pull your entry off line, click ‘delete’. (Note: your entry will not actually be erased, simply unpublished. That way, if you change your mind and decide to put it back up, we can make it available to you again with the click of a button.)
