What is the difference between an artist and a pirate? Stanford professor and Creative Commons advocate Larry Lessig gave this talk at TED -- the Monterey symposium that has quickly become the most respected forum for ideas in America -- on how copyright needs to be renegotiated in the era of the internet. The elegant and powerful argument is well worth the 20 minutes, but if you're not keen on the idea of watching a lecture, be aware that the presentation also features a dancing Jesus and the most tender love ballad ever sung by George W. Bush.
