Dave Devries is an artist who takes children's drawings and fleshes them out with an eerie eye for both detail and mimicry, as if he's got a direct tap into the children's imaginations. Be sure to read the interview with the original artist for Blok , a boy named Brendon Miller, four years after the drawing was created. The explanation of how his monster works is hilarious and touching.
