The Travel Channel’s “Cash and Treasures” filmed on the Davenport coastline on July 16. The show will focus on a search for sea glass—often old bottles or bits of window that have been polished smooth by the ocean and washed ashore. The show follows host Kirsten Gum as she tries to dig up loose gems and other valuable commodities from public areas. Previous shows have featured Australia, Brazil, and Utah. The shoot in Davenport was facilitated by the Santa Cruz County Film Commission.
