Mars is the planet of things hot and red, fiery and inextinguishable. Mars lights a fire within us, makes us quite dramatic, and is hard to control. Mars is desire (Aries) then aspiration (Scorpio). Mars is presently in Leo, the sign of passion, high creativity, high drama and the search for a title, a queen/kingship and a throne. TAURUS (April 21-May 21) Your work focus is becoming very productive as you are attempting to resolve financial problems and make a secure future for everyone. I’ve mentioned this many times and it continues, for you are to tend to the lives of many generations after you who come to you for aid and sustenance. Of all the signs you are the most composed and prepared. Be careful of things electrical in the home. And rest on Wednesday.

GEMINI (May 22-June 20) It seems as if you’re illumined from within. A golden light emanates from your eyes. With Venus, Sun, Mercury and Ceres in Gemini, the potential love/wisdom resting longingly in your heart is beginning to emerge. When others come in contact with you they are puzzled. What is it that’s different they wonder? Your personality light dims as your Soul light shines forth. Observe how you feel. Gaze at Castor and Pollux.

CANCER (June 21-July 20) Working with your finances and resources becomes exciting when you know you will want to use all that you have to create a future that is sustainable and ecological for not only you and your family, but for humanity—those who will come to where you are when many changes begin. Opportunities for more resources fill your mind with ideas as you research and work with others, each of whom has their specific gifts. Nurture them.

LEO (July 21-Aug. 22) Are you busy with this and that, here and there? Are you projecting yourself everywhere in order to participate in various activities where others recognize and applaud you? This is good for your self-identity and it’s also good if you’re going to run meetings, group discussions and community matters. You always have leadership qualities but now they are really seen and heard and your ideas are applied. Stay humble.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) While Mercury (your planet) is retro alongside Sun and Venus in your house of ambition, your mind is internally figuring out what achievements you want to accomplish in the coming months. You are busy and you’re working behind the scenes doing research perhaps, or tending to the ill and weary, or reading Karen Armstrong’s books on religion or seeking respite and seclusion in your garden. ARIES (March 21-April 20) Notice your focus on others understanding you, most important during retrograde times. However if others are non-receptive for protection, you will limit communication. This is good. There is much you want to say and will therefore mull over and over thoughts, ideas and communications making sure what you said was clear and precise. You are doing your best. These are not easy times. You’re good.

TAURUS (April 21-May 21) Your activities are now based upon previous research, which created a value system, which you attempt(ed) to express and maintain. It is important to focus on finances—new ways of creating resources to stabilize your life and the life and future of others. Careful with health. Should there be a chronic illness seek medical help including alternative modalities. What past behavior needs to be broken?

GEMINI (May 22-June 20) You want to progress forward, are somewhat impatient, will leap ahead with thoughts and conclusions before all the information is in. It is difficult to focus your energies outward during retrogrades especially for Geminis who are mostly outward focused until the Soul assumes direction. Notice that you jump into situations then retreat. Observe your behaviors, choices and thoughts.

CANCER (June 21-July 20) There’s a constant inward turning toward understanding the reality and truth of what you see, hear, feel, and experience. This is spiritual work. As you remember past circumstances and choices made in the last several years you feel extremely introverted, replaying conversations in your mind until exhausted. This is difficult. Be aware that your family is fine and they will take care of themselves. They are experiencing the tests of life.

LEO (July 21-Aug. 22) Is your mind seeking a sense of greater meaning? Are you hunting a rainbow? Have you encountered many important people and those who love you as you remained detached? VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) As you reflect on past achievements, do they measure up to your expectations? This is an interesting time for you. There is a realization that due to family training your self-expression can feel inhibited and cautious. The same ways you have built your past you build your future. You will recreate your past. Then you will create your future. It will be free.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) Are you moving forward and backward, expanding and contracting all the while removed from a stable center? Perhaps you are making the trivial into a philosophical treatise and trivializing what’s most important? These are polarities. You are experiencing these so your awareness can be strengthened. What is most important is that you come to a realizing that through Goodwill, which creates Right Relations you finally, come to a state of active peacefulness.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) We know you are a deep thinker who enters into the heart of life’s deepest meanings. This is good. However you can be misunderstood because as others accept superficial answers to most questions, you do not. Sometimes this makes you shy away from intimacy. Keeping thoughts and ideas to yourself you can become isolating. Try not to have this happen. Instead force yourself to communicate, use Right Language, and you will regenerate yourself and others. This takes pondering.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 20) Present experiences are teaching you to balance the focus of your ideas and needs with the needs of others. Although you may feel hampered by this, your self-expression and understanding become enhanced. It’s a paradox (as usual). Should you be feeling more indecisive than usual, wait awhile. Your inner self and mind are evaluating past occurrence in order to fashion your future. Don’t worry. Be happy. (What teacher said that?)

CAPRICORN (Dec. 21-Jan. 20) Know that you may be analyzing reality through the eyes of others. Should there be a sense of frustration in relationships, remember that conflict is the first step toward a greater harmony. You are capable of harmonizing all realities – children, partner, siblings, friends. Although you also may choose not to do this, you already do. You must have time (out) for yourself to sort out your own conflicts. You also need rest.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21-Feb. 18) Your ability to analyze and organize is a comfort. However you may feel that others are expecting from you what you cannot deliver. This creates a state of nervousness and later resentment. Then you can be overly critical of yourself wondering if your words, thoughts and actions were kind. Much of your time is spent thinking you should be doing more. If you simply organize your life (papers, clothes, objects, etc.) you will be able to do more. Get a file cabinet.

PISCES (Feb.19-March 20) Safety and security are on your mind, and the need to be in an environment where you feel sure of yourself. This is not available in the outer world. It’s possible you feel quite alone. Something very important seems to end, family becomes most important yet they remain on the periphery, you think about your mother, and tend to overwhelming duties. Mercury retrogrades in Gemini (21 degrees) Monday morning. Tend to all communication carefully. In the meantime news around the world in the past weeks has been devastating—Colombia’s earthquake, China’s earthquake, Myanmar’s cyclone. Deaths could exceed one million and rising. We can do two things to assist those who are suffering: 1) donate to the Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders, Catholic Charities, Unicef, Care International, etc. 2) recite for those who have died Ohm Mani Padme Hum, over and over when we remember. This mantram assists in their transition through the bardos (pathway between Earth and spirit world), it assists the grief-stricken families left behind, it assists the angelic realms tending to the dead who are in shock, and it assists in the stability of our entire Earth in these difficult and continuing reorienting times with more to come.

Many of the prophets, seers, clairvoyants and futurists are no longer suggesting change is coming. They say we are in that change and the focus now must be on 1) awareness and sensitivity which will help us know when a disaster will strike, and 2) preparation— putting foods, medicines, water and essentials by (like the Mormons who very efficiently teach the skills of preparedness). What is occurring is an end to the materialism (Pluto in Capricorn) we have known (a developmental stage living in form and matter) so that a “new materialism” (spiritualized) can take shape in the form of a “sharing economy” which later will consist of barter, community living, and equal distribution of resources. ARIES (March 21-April 20) What is the status of your car? Does it need a tune-up and/or repairs? What is the status of the computer and phone systems? Do they need upgrading? Are there people you must contact, tasks to tend, bills and correspondences waiting for your attention? Whatever must be done, do it slowly, with care and attention and give yourself more time than usual. Have intentions to complete all past work. You have three weeks.

TAURUS (April 21-May 21) Previous financial situations not able to be tended to till now will need your attention. With all bills and monetary interactions, check and recheck the amounts for there could be mistakes. It will be important to re-evaluate your budget and spending. I think you have many valuable items, which could be sold so you have more capital to work with and in order to purchase preparedness supplies. And create that environment you’re impelled to build.

GEMINI (May 22-June 20) You ponder upon how others perceive you. Realize you have leadership abilities. In the next several weeks your thoughts will make you aware or self-identity. Do not allow criticism to undermine your goodness. There may be a challenge between your love of self and your judgmental self. Someone else may activate this. Know that your childhood experiences were chosen by you for learning.

CANCER (June 21-July 20) Fears may be ready to set up housekeeping in your emotional mind. Inform them they are not welcome. Others can assist you if you talk about what’s bothering you. Fear can become addictive, looping over and over in your lower mind and bringing you to your knees metaphorically. If there is lamentation and grief, that is allowed. But fear isn’t. It isn’t real and is based on non-information.

LEO (July 21-Aug. 22) Reassessing friendships and social interactions, future goals, hopes, wishes and aspirations are your currents of thought in the coming weeks. Re-evaluating these keeps us in touch and aware. Whenever we feel tension and longing a new need and aspiration is calling us. Respect this. When desires are spiritualized, they become aspirations. They tell us of the pathways to our future.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) Your life direction will come into focus along with who you want to be in the coming years. These are very important considerations. Sometimes we don’t really know what life has in store for us. And sometimes we can’t visualize anything. What in your life are you striving toward? What things/events are most important for you? Do the environments you find yourself in, reflect you?

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) Several times in our lives we have spiritual experiences that lead us to reassess life’s purpose and our purpose within life itself. We refine and redefine; we ask if there is actual justice in life. There is but it’s often hidden unless we quest beneath the surface of accepted reality. Ethics become important. What are your ethics? Do you know what they are? Remember at all times to radiate Goodwill.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) Other people’s money and resources will be on your mind and/or money and resources you hold in common with another. Arrange a meeting specifically concerning these resources stating what both of your needs are for the future. You will reassess and rearrange but it must be done with equanimity. We will begin to enter into a sharing economy. Knowing this you can better manage your need for power. Power with others works.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 20) You may remember all previous relationships over the next three weeks. It’s good to assess what has worked, what didn’t and how your belief systems (patterns learned when you were small) affected the outcomes. Something special is or will be occurring intimately. Perhaps it’s that you understand how love works and that it’s not about the other. It’s about your intentions and ability to see the life principle in action.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 21-Jan. 20) Daily work and agendas, interactions with co-workers will be the focus. Something from the past shows up and through cooperation and intentions for right relations you create a state of cooperation that surpasses all expectations. Home life on a daily basis may feel changed. A previous restrictive attitude of someone near you continues to be difficult. Eventually this must be faced lest something is lost forever. Schedules shift and change constantly.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21-Feb. 18) It’s good to know there’s a difference between what makes you happy and what makes others happy. They’re not the same. It is a radical shift within ourselves when we ask what makes another happy, soothed, comforted, cared for. When we realize these we may at first have to sacrifice our own comfort. But should we tend to the other, joy replaces discomfort and the happiness is ours.

PISCES (Feb.19-March 20) The following issues will be on your mind: Your mother and you as mother (if you are); your relationship with your children, especially daughters; concern about your home – where and how you live and what the future will bring in terms of home, family, and the quality of nurturing you will receive. There will be conflicts felt amidst all the realities. What you truly want may not be available. But something greater is. Definition and seeking helps it

Sunday is the Feast of the Trinity (three aspects of God) in the Catholic Church and Monday is the 2nd Taurus Full Moon Wesak festival. We celebrate Wesak (Ray 1 festival) twice this year renewing our dedication as the New Group of World Servers (NGWS) holding in tension the Shamballa Force (the Will of God) for its later distribution to humanity at the Gemini June 18 Full Moon. Gemini is the sign of distribution.

Sunday is the feast of the Trinity, the three aspects of God—Father, Son, Holy Spirit (in Hinduism Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva), or Will, Love/Wisdom, and Divine Intelligence. As esotericists we recognize these as Rays 1, 2, & 3 emanating from the Big Bear, Sirius and the Pleiades. The three Spring Full Moon Festivals of Aries (Christ, Easter, Resurrection, Restoration), Taurus (Shamballa, Wesak, Buddha, Enlightenment), and Gemini (Humanity, Goodwill, Reconstruction) represent the Trinity of God anchoring in the consciousness of humanity and the earth. Celebrating these festivals creates a bridge between all religions and the foundation for the new world religion wherein all of humanity will keep the same holy days. Monday, 7:11 p.m. (Pacific time), is the Full Sun/Moon solar festival at 29 degrees Taurus/Scorpio. The meditative seed thought is “I see and when the eye is open, all is Light.” Join us for the second Wesak celebration. At 8:18 p.m. Moon enters Sag. On Tuesday, 9:01 a.m., Sun enters Gemini. We shift from comfort to polarity. Wednesday is deep and difficult. Mercury begins a three-week retrograde next week.

ARIES (March 21-April 20) This is a deeply creative time, and also a time for fun and playfulness interspersed with inner analysis concerning finances, resources, values and money. You will also assess your profession, the work you do in the world, and how to later in the year create, recognize and act upon opportunities with clarity and finesse. The tempo of your life speeds up, thoughts are swift.

TAURUS (April 21-May 21) You have concern about money and future resources, thinking constantly on how to bring in adequate finances for your well-being and security. In this group you are the central figure, sharing global and universal issues, teaching others who circle around you like planets around a Sun. VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) Different situations can occur in the coming weeks. You are recognized professionally; your career leaps forward; a promotion is offered; your contributions are praised; you’re offered exciting work; you’re asked your opinion on important projects; a parent becomes significant and you’re asked to improve communications; you analyze your ambitions; you assess how you serve your community. Much is achieved.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) Observe how and what you are thinking, where you find yourself going, and what you want to be doing the next few months. There is a great urge to high-level study and an even greater urge to travel. Combining the two, study and travel, would prove to be most auspicious, and lucrative in terms of future plans. SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) There will occur in the weeks to come a better and more effective way to communicate. Your mind will see more clearly and be more able to analyze. You will share more, which is part of the new emerging materialism called the “sharing economy.” It’s good to be forerunner and initiator of future resources. Simultaneously you will assess intimacy, what it means to you and how it relates to commitment. Deep and transformative events.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 20) Always you benefit others, always you provide knowledge, show us how to set goals, model pursuing desires (and later aspirations) through your exceptional communication skills, clear perceptions and logical ways of thinking. Now, if only you could bring these keen skills to relationships. Some day you will because the most perfect person, fully prepared for you, will finally show up. A patient sort of healing then occurs and love, too.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 21-Jan. 20) While you’re busy everyone’s watching how you organize, analyze and then adapt to different situations? You’re actually teaching everyone in your environment, which makes everyone want to assist you, especially children. If you know what’s needed for the future present these ideas to other movers and shakers (like yourself). One reminder: Eat breakfast every day. Then lunch and dinner, too. No skipping.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21-Feb. 18) Seek others who are like you. You’re also needing fun. (Some, not all,  Aquarians may end up  gambling— not the best use of time and resources). Some Aquarians will entertain or seek to be entertained. It’s good to be with children now. Their perceptions are closer to reality, their understandings most perceptive, their sense of play unsurpassed.

PISCES (Feb.19-March 20) Your communication will center upon how to take care of the self, how to nurture and how to do everyday, practical life tasks slowly, with calmness and knowledge. You will either be with children or family and no matter how anyone acts, your kindness and compassion will hold them safely and intact. You will return to a previous endeavor, which will then redeem and uplift everything in your life.

As our mothers impart to us their intelligence, so does the Earth (Ray 3) attempt to teach us. We remember the 4th Commandment (Aries dispensation) to “Honor thy Mother & Father.” Last year I sent a card to my mother of Tina Turner singing, “You’re simply the best!” She is and they (mothers) are (the best). As mothers age they gratefully look to their children for love, guidance, and companionship. Positions change. On this Leo day let’s have the intention to thank and honor our mothers in all ways.

ARIES (March 21-April 20) Careful how you interact with others. Don’t rely only on outer monetary realities though they are important. Rely also on instinct and then intuition to direct and guide you into knowing the quality of a person, event, resource, and investment. You will be called to courage, a virtue of the heart and to a deep calmness when one knows all’s well.

TAURUS (April 21-May 21) Be aware that you make impressions on others leading them to follow your every thought and move. Therefore it is important that you complete all plans, agreements, promises and agendas. You’re attempting to initiate new projects impacting us far into the future. Proceed forward. You may be one of the only ones able to accomplish this. The future of humanity awaits.

GEMINI (May 22-June 20) You may feel exhausted, needing more rest. You also may not be sleeping well – either dreaming or remaining awake. The mineral kingdom is shaking underground with underwater volcanic activity. Your sensitive body may be feeling this. SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) Relationships are primary now so listen very carefully to what others are communicating and have the intentions to respond with care, interest and emotional equilibrium. Should you be uncooperative a feeling of imbalance will ensue and you will feel you have neglected a responsibility. Direct attention toward others now for only from you can they feel special care, love and safety.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 20) Career matters assume new dimensions, co-workers need more care, you want to improve your health, create new work methods and tend to the necessities of your life. You realize this takes balancing and so you go slower than usual, foregoing adventure in order to create a long-term plan of practical goals. Your greatest success is acceptance of everything presently in your life. Then everything shifts.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 21-Jan. 20) Setting out each day’s agenda and realizing your priorities allows you to have more wisdom and brings a clarity and focus to things routine. Try not to criticize anyone or anything, realizing everyone’s doing their very best and at different stages of development. New opportunities appear at first as philosophical ideas and goals. Rest more so you can imagine more.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21-Feb. 18) Home and family, property, community and parents become very important. Give these attention, attempting to improve relationships with family while also improving the beauty and organization of your home environment. Do nothing that unsettles your or your family’s safety or security, challenge no one, and calm tensions with exercise, prayers and adequate vitamins, minerals and herbs.

PISCES (Feb.19-March 20) You may be traveling to teach and/or to study this summer. You may be planning meetings, conferences and/or curriculum. You will definitely be communicating with others on a grand scale, either personally or through writing, speaking, teleconferencing. Some or all of these will occur and all the while you will gain in knowledge, in happiness and in goodness. Others too then prosper.

ARIES (March 21-April 20) Be aware this month of defining your self-identity (a good thing) in terms of what you possess (not necessarily reality). It is good for us to have what we need. Sometimes it tells us what we’re worth financially. But it doesn’t provide us with true self-value or self as valuable. That’s a spiritual lens that needs continual refreshing and remembering. What is the message here? You’re valuable not only in money but in spirit.

TAURUS (April 21-May 21) Attempt to express thoughts and feelings of love, appreciation, care and nurturance as everything you value shifts about. You’re considering ways of using resources so they become future investments. Yes, this is good. But beforehand, tend to ALL unfinished business, communications, finances, and responsibilities. This may be difficult and will call you to discipline. But you must in order to have the presence of mind for your next endeavor.

GEMINI (May 22-June 20) Working quietly and in solitude (even if working in the world), preparing to dream and to remember those dreams, asking yourself serious questions and awaiting the answers to reveal themselves is part of this week’s internal agenda. Simultaneously, something may appear that becomes a resource. Maybe money. Each day search for what’s hidden and valuable. Your values are becoming universal. Did you notice?

CANCER (June 21-July 20) You need to communicate what’s on your mind, share certain personal experiences, talk about aspirations, hopes, wishes and dreams. You cannot keep yourself isolated any longer. It is not healthy to do so. Who are your friends? Go to them for they provide you with safety, security and a sense that you are loved and cared for. But you must take the first authentic step, You can, will, and should. Bake first.

LEO (July 21-Aug. 22) You have a deep strength to call upon for assistance when everything seems strange, difficult, dull or restricted. This strength holds you in safety and insures that what you need will be provided. Whatever you are accomplishing in the world now seems comforting and prosperous, valuable and purposeful. But there is one question to ask. If you are unhappy on any level, what else would you want to be doing? And where?

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) It’s possible you feel restrictions in your physical body, in how you see yourself, and perhaps in thinking of yourself as free and creative. A new sense of internal structure is about to form and providing you with a new ladder to climb which will allow you an overview of who you would like to be and in what location. It’s possible previous philosophies defining you will change. Watch for this. You’ll move up the ladder.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) You’ll realize that by participating with others and sharing resources, you’re creating a deep connection between yourself and others and this contact (which releases Love) actually provides you with comfort, care and a sense of regeneration. You too provide this. Do you realize this? Remember there is more to life than money. There is comfort, care, support and compassion. These create spiritual joy. You long for this.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) Very interesting times. It’s possible you’ve become (or want to) attracted to someone (or the idea of being attracted). You want new experiences that lead to feelings of safety and security, and events or people or that one special person to offer you the Art of Living that stays around for a long while. These are good desires and aspirations. Do be aware though that if you attract what’s moody, you too become this way. Be awake and aware. Freedom is subtle.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 20) Scorpio (above) applies to you, also, Sag. But perhaps instead of looking for the attraction you’re working more and waiting for that big life change (happening now or later or some day in the future, sometime – you feel it!). While at work though do tend to those under, around and over you. Recite the Integration Mantram to soothe yourself. “I am one with my brothers and sisters and all that I have is theirs. May the love which is in my Soul pour forth to them. May the strength within me lift and aid them….”

CAPRICORN (Dec. 21-Jan. 20) Here is a quote specifically for you from the film Chocolat. It is so you can “measure” yourself appropriately. “We must measure our goodness, not by what we don’t do, what we deny ourselves, what we resist, or who we exclude. Instead, we should measure ourselves by what we embrace, what we create, and who we include.” Print this out in large type, frame it and hang it in each room.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21-Feb. 18) You realize what you are grateful for. You see how important a home is, yours in particular, and also the importance of family and being in close contact. You look into your past and toward your future and know that what you do each day—the choice of your actions—determines the quality of your life. This is like a mathematical equation. You are the foundation of your life. You will build from this position. In the meantime, have a party, some fun, cook, and invite people over. They miss you.

PISCES (Feb.19-March 20) Tend to all communications and contacts that have been put aside till the right time. Now is the right time. Let everyone know how you feel about them, providing everyone with a view of their worth. You know this but others may not understand. It may be you have one good day and the next is confused and disoriented. Rest on those days of confusion. Create a journal of your perfect home. Begin now. Relationships begin to be structured differently. A new rhythm will emerge. Prepare for this carefully.
