CASA screens trains and professionally supervises community volunteers to serve as mentors and powerful advocates for children in the Santa Cruz County foster care system who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected. If you can give 3 to 5 hours a week, make a two year commitment to help guide a child through a complex system of social workers, foster parents, therapists, and lawyers while building a consistent, caring relationship. Our next volunteer Advocate training begins in February. The first step is to attend one of CASA's monthly informational orientations.
