Edible and Medicinal Plants of California, taught by Tellur Fenner.
Tellur is a clinical herbalist, educator and owner of the Blue Wind Botanical Medicine Clinic.
The class will explore many of the more common (and lesser known) native/non-native plants found growing throughout the state, with a focus on historical as well as modern use. Topics to be covered include: botany/plant I.D., ethical harvesting/preparation methods, and botanical safety issues. Class will include a large selection of live/dried plant samples, plus sampling of a number of different edible/medicinal plant preparations. |
