| Rick Flores, Curator of the California Native Plant Collections will present. In 2009 the UCSC Arboretum and the Amah Mutsun Tribal members recognized their mutual respect and interest in ethnobotany and came together to create the "Relearning Garden". On the 40 acre parcel known as the California Native Gardens, the Relearning Garden will unfold as a place where traditional plant gathering and tending will coexist with educational and interpretive programs. |
