| Earth Summit is a free festival celebrating environmental sustainability within the UCSC campus and Santa Cruz community. Earth Summit will feature workshops, hosted by campus and community organizations, including Recycled Art, Fermentation, and Habitat Destruction with a UCSC Natural Reserves Hike. Speakers will include Maya Salsedo, Santa Cruz food justice advocate, and Flora Lu, Ph.D., renowned Anthropology, Latin American Studies and Environmental Justice professor. There will be fresh local food, spoken word, live music and other entertainment. Don't miss this opportunity to learn and grow by getting more involved in the UCSC sustainability movement! |
