Economic Intelligence, the Holy Spirit & Liberation

Economic Intelligence, the Holy Spirit & Liberation

As of this writing severe weather (heat, sink holes, flash floods, droughts, etc) is occurring in many places around the country while our U.S. government is deadlocked about the state (debts, taxes, etc.) of our economy (Ray 3). During Cancer’s full moon meditation Thursday night, those participating in the Kalachakra Initiation and full moon meditation in Washington DC saw the president’s helicopter take off and fly over the city. He flew into the Light of the Cancer full moon. We hope this gave him the strength and courage to decide what is for the greatest good. We call forth the Law of Ancient Dominating Good and the Forces of Light to flow into and influence the U.S. government.
The financial disarray (achieving a harmony through Conflict, Ray 4) is not surprising. Saturn in Libra (both Ray 3 of Economic Intelligence) is squaring the U.S. Sun in Cancer in the second house of finances and values. Squares challenge us into a new direction. Saturn, Dweller on the Threshold, highlights obstacles to intelligent success. Saturn, exalted in Libra, calls for balance. Opportunity is given if we make responsible decisions.

Human-Angelic Communication

Human-Angelic CommunicationWe are in the month and sign of Cancer (crab, scarab, tortoise). On the personality-building level, Cancer is about mother and nurturing, birth and nourishment of all life. On the Soul level, Cancer is about developing intelligence (Ray 3), intelligently working with all the kingdoms, and thus creating a new world (Ray 7).
Because Cancer is the sign of humanity (the masses, ruled by the moon) and the sign where Spirit enters matter (the Gate), during the month of Cancer humanity reviews life and world events for the purpose of preparing for the coming year (autumn, winter, spring).
As of this writing, Arizona and New Mexico are burning from wildfires and many states if not experiencing record triple-digit heat have flooded farmlands.

New Moon, Solar Eclipse, Independence Day

New Moon, Solar Eclipse, Independence DayThe week holds two important events – Friday’s new moon, solar eclipse (sun hidden), 9 degrees Cancer and the 235th birthday of the United States, Independence Day, Monday. The Sun and moon at the new moon joins the U.S. Sun (12 Cancer).
Saturn is part of this new moon. The message of Saturn (disciplinarian, Dweller on the Threshold) and the solar eclipse, is that humanity is at a turning point, change is here for good, and it’s time to create the new and work together for our survival. We are in a revolution for the purpose of evolution.
The new moon chart has many squares forming a Grand Cross in cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn). Squares challenge us to anchor new realities. The Grand Cross helps us initiate and actuate plans and visions.

Lazy, Dreamy, Unhurried Days

Lazy, Dreamy, Unhurried DaysOn Tuesday the Sun (0 Cancer, summer solstice) reached its farthest northern position at the Tropic of Cancer (23 degrees 27, north pole, Earth’s axis, maximum inclination). For 72 hours the Sun is still in this northern position. After three days of stillness the pole begins to slowly tilt in the opposite direction, the light begins to decrease, the days grow shorter, the nights longer. An imperceptible change (of light) overtakes the atmosphere. Summer’s here. The life force, rushing into spring and creating tall leggy green growth in the plant kingdom, settles down into an unhurried, lazy, dreamy subdued heat. The human kingdom, expressing heavenly energies, seeks, instead of long overheated laborious work, more mellow activities—leisure, rest, relaxation, vacations. Summer, we all think, is supposed to be fun. If we watch carefully, we notice that plants begin to grow differently as they head toward harvest. Newborns in the animal kingdom turn into teenagers.

The Trinity, Father’s Day and More

The Trinity, Father’s Day and MoreArt notice: Davenport Gallery (450 Highway 1) show: Concerning the Spiritual in Art (ends June 26). Santa Cruz artists “depicting the mysterious.” It’s illuminating, enticing and beautiful. The show began in Gemini (gifts of the hand) and ends in Cancer (sign of the “Gate where Spirit enters matter”). Artists always stand at the gate, a borderland between things seen and unseen. The artist’s task is to bring spirit into matter.
Tuesday is Summer solstice (or Midsummer-June 21-24), Sun at the Tropic of Cancer. In Masonry and Christianity, it’s St. John the Baptist Day. As summer begins, we enter into the influence of Cancer, sign of mother, family, home, the embryonic waters nurturing new life. Cancer, with Moon as its ruler, nurtures the masses of humanity. In our very earliest incarnations on Earth everyone entered the planet through Cancer.

Festival of Humanity & World Invocation Day

Festival of Humanity & World Invocation DayThe Gemini Solar Festival of Goodwill & World Invocation Day occurs Wednesday at 1:14 p.m. (PST) at 24 degrees Gemini. The full moon this year is accompanies by a total lunar eclipse, signifying something in form disappears. The Gemini festival is the time in which the Christ, Hierarchy and New Group of World Servers, distribute to humanity the Shamballa force (Wesak blessing from our God, Sanat Kumara)—the Will-to-Good, which becomes Goodwill when humanity receives and absorbs it. The blessing, released by the Buddha, has been held in trust and safe guarded by the Christ for the entire month since the last full moon. Gemini (which gathers and disperses energies) is the 3rd Spring full moon festival. At each of the festivals (Aries, Taurus, Gemini) great forces—that of Restoration (Aries), Enlightenment (Taurus) and Reconstruction (Gemini) – are released to the Earth and humanity for the purpose of accelerating evolution.

Week of Festivals: Full Moon, Lantern Festival, Purim, Holi

It is a week of many different festivals along with a full moon, all occurring simultaneously. Thursday Chinese New Year celebrations end with the Lantern Festival (at full moon). Thursday is also the Pisces Solar festival (full moon), Purim (Jewish Festival) and Holi (Hindu New Year Festival). Sunday, March 8, Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 a.m. The festival of Purim celebrates the freedom of the Hebrew people from the cruel Haman (a magistrate) seeking to destroy them. Esther, the Queen of Persia, who was secretly Jewish, saved her people from death. The sweet cookie hamentaschen celebrates this festival. Friday, March 6, is Holi, the Hindu Spring Festival celebrated after the March full moon. Bonfires are lit the night before, warding off evil. Holi, the Festival of Colors, is the most colorful festival in the world. It is also the Festival of Love—of Radha for Krishna (the blue-colored God). It is a spring festival with singing, dancing, carnivals, food and bhang, a drink made of cannabis leaves. Holi signifies good over evil, ridding oneself of past errors, ending conflicts through rapprochement (returning to each other). It is a day of forgiveness, including debts. Holi also marks the beginning of New Year. At the Pisces Solar festival we recite the seed thought, “We leave the Father’s home and, turning back, we save.” Great Teachers remain on Earth until all of humanity is enlightened. The New Group of World Servers is called to this task and sacrifice. Sacrifice (from the heart) is the first Law of the Soul, the heart of which is Love. This sacrifice saves the world.

When looking for a bottle of something to have with dinner, Gewürztraminer 2012 is not the first wine to come to mind. Given the popularity of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot and Pinot Noir—to name but a few—Gewürztraminer sits low on the totem pole.
