The Stars Shine and Teach

The Stars Shine and Teach

As the planets circle the Sun, they gradually enter into the fields of the 12 zodiacal signs. Gathering the energy of a sign, they stream that energy to Earth. As the planets and stars shine they also “teach” different lessons based upon the Law of Vibration. Sometimes many planets are changing signs simultaneously. Sometimes sign changes are spread out over months. This week Mercury (leaving Pisces) enters Aries, Venus (leaving Aries) enters Taurus and Pluto retrogrades in Capricorn.

Divine Mercy & New Moon of Spring

Divine Mercy & New Moon of Spring

There are four luminaries (Sun, Mars, Venus, Uranus) in the fire sign of Aries this week. By Wednesday, there will be five as moon joins the Sun in the first new moon of Spring.

Sunday is Divine Mercy Sunday. Monday is the Annunciation. Wednesday is the Aries new moon (20 degrees). “Go forth into matter” is the personality-building seed-thought of Aries. Over and over, lifetime after lifetime we use the Mars energy & the fiery impulse of Aries to return to Earth, anchor ourselves into a new life, learn more about form and matter, the personality dominating.

The Spirit of Resurrection

The Spirit of Resurrection

Many this week are preparing for Easter Sunday (or the Easter bunny). Easter celebrates the Spirit of Resurrection – a fire resurrecting all life everywhere on Earth. On Thursday the Sun, Venus and Uranus conjunct (join) in Aries (initiating all things new). The Sun illuminates, Venus carries the Ray of the Aquarian Age, and Uranus rules the Aquarian Age. There is an illumination of things to come, things bright, revolutionary and startling. These new energies falling to earth reveal to us that a new culture and civilization is immanent - the Culture of the New Era Community. The new energies no longer support that which does not build the new world era. Spirit (the Will of God) anchors into matter; the Will-to-Good manifests; and a “new phase of the Plan” is initiated.

The Spirit of Resurrection

The Spirit of Resurrection

We are in the first week of spring. It is a very potent week with many world conferences, potent astrological alignments and a solar festival with the Spirit of Resurrection and the Forces of Restoration beginning to flow into the earth during the first full moon of the season.
Thursday (World Poetry Day) Venus enters Aries joining the Sun, Mars and Uranus in Aries (four fiery
fields to bring forth “all things new” this springtime).

‘Astrology is …’

‘Astrology is …’

Mercury retro in Pisces turns stationary direct Sunday (St. Patrick’s Day). Mercury stands still for three days before slowly moving forward. All that we held off (big purchases, decisions) can move forward now. Slowly and carefully.

Early morning Wednesday, Sun enter the fires of Aries and spring, (northern latitudes) begins. Spring Equinox is always International Astrology Day. Honoring this I quote the Tibetan teacher Djwhal Khul (Dwa-Kool) on astrology (written by Alice Bailey, his amanuensis [scribe]), Esoteric Astrology.

Tragedy and Sacrifice in Santa Cruz

Tragedy and Sacrifice in Santa Cruz

Prayers go out to the families of policewoman Elizabeth Butler and policeman Loran “Butch” Baker. And to Jeremy Goulet, the suspect in their killings. No one can replace a mommy or daddy, a husband or wife, a daughter or son. When shocks like this occur we seek answers. There are some. The situation foreshadows the chaos yet to come in our world.

Ending the Darkness of Matter

Ending the Darkness of Matter

We are in Pisces now, the last sign of the zodiac—“Light of the World, revealing Life itself, ending forever the darkness of matter.” Pisces contains all previous eleven signs. Pisces is the two fish, connected by a silvery cord. One fish is the personality, the other the Soul. They represent the duality all of humanity experiences. Being both animal and divine, we experience simultaneously feelings of attraction and separation, passion and despair, suffering and bliss.

Two Fish Bound by a Golden Cord

Until March 20, (Spring Equinox), Earth and her kingdoms (mineral, plant, animal, human) experience the influence of Pisces, sign of the World Savior. Whereas the task of Aquarius is as world server, the Pisces task is saving the world—tasks given to the two fishes. Pisces never really enters matter, and as the last sign of the zodiac includes all the signs. During Pisces, having gathered all the gifts of the previous 11 signs, it is a good time to prepare for new initiating plans when Aries (sign of beginnings) begins. No wonder Pisces, like Scorpio, is so difficult (both are ruled by Pluto, planet of death, new life, regeneration, transformations). Both signs (with Scorpio drowning in dark and deep waters) find life on Earth a hardship, disorienting (from the spiritual perspective), at times feeling betrayed. Life is a paradox, especially for Pisces. Each zodiacal sign represents and distributes a different phase and facet (12) of the Soul’s diamond light, Pisces is the “Light of Life itself, ending forever the darkness of matter.” It takes two fish to complete this work (creating eventually an extraordinary human being). One fish turned toward the material world (in order to understand matter), the other fish toward the heavenly world. Around the two fish is a silvery cord binding them together. The two fish are forever bound until all of humanity is redeemed (lifted up into the Light). This is the dedication of all world saviors (Buddha, Christ, the NGWS). Thus the sacrifice and suffering experienced by Pisces. Knowing these things about Pisces, let us help them all we can. Sometimes all of humanity is Pisces.
