Aries Fire and All Things New

RisaNewSThe new moon of the new spiritual (spring season) year occurs Thursday morning, at 2.22 degrees Aries. Mercury retro and Uranus are poised, like messenger-sentries, on either side of the new moon. Humanity may be impressed with an idea (Mercury) that becomes a great ideal concerning our future (Uranus). We’re in the full energetic stream of Aries now. Spring has arrived and new life is emerging in the Northern Hemisphere. The new Spiritual Year began at Spring Equinox as the Sun entered initiating Aries, sign of the mind, of fire, where all ideas begin and where the fiery impulse to take action actually happens in form and matter.

In Aries (where all new things begin) for the next seven years is Uranus, planet of revolution and the new archetypes needed to create the new culture and civilization. Mercury retro joined Uranus in Aries March 18 and will again April 22, Earth Day. Calling humanity to rise up, revolutionize, absorb the new archetypes and create the new world, together. Perhaps Mercury/Uranus will “present” a “solar event” on Earth Day. There is a direct relationship between planetary alignments and solar activity. Unlocking solar codes allows us to prepare for solar events.

Aries pours into Earth as electric fire creating heat. This is the fire in lightning storms, usual during Spring. Aries fire must step itself down before reaching Earth, lest humanity & Earth become incinerated (on fire). Aries therefore steps itself down first through Mars, creating our fiery personalities, fiery challenges, war, strife and conflict. We are “washed in the fires of desire.” This is Mars. Later, as we progress upon the Evolutionary Path, we experience Aries through Mercury (the mind). Desire is lifted up to (become) aspiration. Instead of strife, we seek the fires of the mind (through study, knowledge, knowing, understanding).
Mercury is retrograde in Aries till April 4.

Esoteric Astrology as News for the week of Mar 22-28, 2012 For Sun and Rising Signs

ariesAries-March 21–April 20

You feel “in alignment” this month as bright revelations and many new ideas (to become ideals) are impressed upon your mind. Pay attention. They are important and will stabilize your actions and self-identity in the coming challenging times. View and interact in groups with discrimination. Stand tall and courageous and remember that fear means you need more information. Research.

taurusTaurus April 21–May 21
You’re ceaselessly serving others through much of each day. Working behind the scenes allows you to ponder, think, research, read and study undisturbed. Sometimes you’re far away from home tending to life and death situations or medical emergencies. You must turn toward yourself now and begin to heal, using different healing modalities, vitamins, minerals and a special healing diet.

geminiGemini May 22–June 20

How has the Mercury retrograde affected you? We’ll soon have Venus retrograde (your Soul ruler). You’re being prepared for future work. For now you’re to dispel the illusions of others concerning the situation of light and dark on our planet. Did you see the “Thrive” film? During the retrogrades you reflect upon the nurturing quality offered at work and from friends. Nurturing? What’s occurring at home

cancerCancer June 21–July 20

Opportunities are being offered within group(s) you affiliate with. Perhaps a recognition or call to leadership or a future wish and hope will be fulfilled. New people from far away enter your inner circle through a community interaction. Maintain in these interactions discrimination, ethics and ideals. You’re called to help someone in the garden. You know more than most.

leoLeo July 21–August 22
Work continues to be a stabilizing and expansive influence. You develop new ways of relating to everyone professionally and this creates a powerful leadership. Your power is greater than you recognize and more than most comprehend. Careful with the authority you become. Intentionally balance discipline, structure, will and kindness. Let love rule.

virgoVirgo August 23–September 22
Things religious, spiritual, adventuresome along with places far from here play upon your mind. You create intentions to be better organized; you prefer plans and agendas if they have travel and philosophy included. It’s important to know how to handle other people’s resources (inner). You seek to learn what is of value about and within each person first. Then you learn how to honor them.

libraLibra September 23–October 22

Your heart fills up with love for another (a new, present or past relationship). Love happens. You also think about money in terms of legacies, inheritances, stocks, investments, taxes or savings. Bring all information into the light for discussion. Tend to debts and become very thrifty. And consider what would sustain you (food, people, items, etc.) if the world changes.

scorpioScorpio October 23–November 21
In your daily life be willing to listen carefully to others, agree with and participate in their ideas. This creates a loving emotional balance in your life. Should you do this you will be seen as one who is wise, intelligent and caring - a new persona. Begin to intentionally cooperate, share and offer praise. These create Right Relations within, Right Relations without.

saggSagittarius November 22–December 20
As you remain with your present work situation, consider creating new methods of well-being, communications and trainings, creating a caring work environment. For yourself tend to your physical health, eliminating all sugars and gluten. Make sure to care for your financial health as well. In the meantime, remember to have fun, play a lot and seek the artistic and the beautiful. Then your creativity expands exponentially.

capricornCapricorn December 21–January 20
Aries is in your house of home and family. Turn to family and renew your intentions of care and nourishment. This leads to a depth of unexpected love, for you are, to family, the “love that underlies all things” for them. Sometimes our families are far away. If this is the situation radiate Goodwill from your heart to others. Then people, walking into your radiated light, feel you are their family.

aquariusAquarius January 21–February 18
What’s occurring at home, with real estate, family, parents or your life’s foundation? A new base of operations, perhaps. Either you must move or are moving, your present environment needs improvement, or you seek safety and security. Communicate to everyone you know what your needs are. You may be traveling far soon. Watch over carefully money and resources.

piscesPisces February 19–March 20

Neptune is dropping the veils between kingdoms. Chiron makes you exceptionally sensitive, aware of hurts with, to and among others. Pallas Athena opens the door to intuition. You miss so many things. They are dissolving away. Find your place in the garden and remain there. Especially at dawn.

Best of Santa Cruz 2015

In 40 years of publishing, Good Times has seen a lot of “bests.”

Spring Triangle: Three Spring Festivals—Aries, Taurus, Gemini

The Spring signs Aries, Taurus and Gemini constitute a triangle of force that sets the template for the nine signs that follow and the template for the entire year (Spring 2015 - Spring 2016) ahead. Aries initiates new ideas, Taurus stabilizes the new thinking of Aries and Gemini takes the initiating stabilized ideas of Aries/Taurus and disperses them to all of humanity. It is in this way that humanity learns new things, with the help of Mercury, the messenger. As Spring unfolds, three elements emerge: the Fire of Aries (initiating new ideas), the Earth of Taurus (anchoring the ideas of God through Mercury) and the Air of communicating Gemini. These three signs/elements are the Three Spring Festivals. They are the “triangle of force” forming the template (patterns) of energy for the upcoming new year. After these three we then have the soothing, calming, warming, nurturing and tending waters of the mother (Cancer). Cancer initiates our next season under the hot suns of summer. Planets, stars and signs create the Temple of Light directing humanity towards all things new. March 29 is Palm Sunday, when the Christ, World Teacher, was led into Jerusalem (City of Peace) on a donkey (humility). Palms waving above His head, signified recognition of the Christ’s divinity. Palm Sunday is the Sunday before the Easter (Resurrection Festival). Palm Sunday begins Holy Week, the week of capture, imprisonment, passion, sacrifice, crucifixion, death and resurrection of the christ. All events in the Christ’s life represent events (initiations) that humanity experiences through many lifetimes. We turn our attention to these holy events this week. Their concepts portray and reveal to us greater spiritual understanding. Then, Aries, the “light of life itself” shines through us.
