Thursday is Flag Day, Sunday is Father’s Day, Tuesday is new moon (29 degrees) in Gemini and Wednesday morning is Summer Solstice as Sun enters Cancer, sign of the nurturing principle and the Gate where Spirit enters matter. The unfurled flag symbolizes our nation and people’s freedom and liberty.
We honor, on Father’s Day, all fathers, celebrating the principle of fatherhood, all paternal bonds, recognizing the vital and important influence of fathers in society and the family.
Tuesday’s new moon in Gemini’s meditative seed thought as we build our personality is, “Let instability do its work.” A profound quote explaining the complexities, confusions, instability and lack of cohesion within life. Which brings about the need for harmony, a Soul quality. As we seek harmony through instability, adjustments are made in our lives that call forth the Soul’s presence. Our personality, exhausted as it is from life’s vicissitudes, gladly offers itself for Soul direction.
At Wednesday’s Summer solstice the Sun reaches its highest point. The Sun, after reaching the Tropic of Cancer, stands still for three days, before its journey southward. Solstice is the longest day of light for the year. Then we enter the dark half of the year. It is good to plant and/or harvest the golden-flowered mid-summer plants of Calendula, and St. Johnswort, followed by fennel, ferns, rue (herb of grace, ruta graveolens), rosemary, dog rose (climbing rose, symbolized monarchy), lemon verbena, mallow, foxglove and elder flowers. Harvested flowers, herbs and leaves are hung in doorways overnight to receive the morning dew to later bathe in. As Archangel Uriel resumes guidance over the Earth twelve Sun seeds gather in the head of each of us. A Midsummer Night's Dream wedding takes place there.
Esoteric Astrology as News for the week of Jun 14–20, 2010 For Sun and Rising Signs
Aries-March 21–April 20
Being creative is a self-identity. Creativity calls you to initiate new endeavors that respond to all the changes coming your way in terms of work, how you’re recognized, relationships and self-identity. Everything is more than you think. Observe everything with calmness. Tend to health with a focus on proper digestion (probiotics, enzymes, green foods, etc.)
Taurus April 21–May 21
Home sustains your relationship. There’s much to be done at home. What is the larger picture concerning your life, geography, relationships, partnerships? Careful working in the hot sun. You may not be absorbing enough water. Maintain adequate electrolytes each day. Something challenges you, calling you to consider other realities. Perhaps it’s your health. Are you in pain?
Gemini May 22–June 20
Mercury, your planetary messenger, is in Cancer, calling for nurturing communication. A line of light beams from Sirius streams directly into your heart creating a framework that unifies polarities but only if you love (Ray 2) more, which happens when you’ve gathered adequate information. Study facts on finances, resources, gold and silver, Venus, land, gardens, greenhouses and what sustains you.
Cancer June 21–July 20
Communication may be difficult. You may feel anger and frustration. Those around you may be acting out those feelings for you. There’s a situation with money. Whatever you give opens a gate. Always what you give is returned tenfold—a cosmic law. Is there a wound or hurt occurring? Are your feet painful? Is something limiting you? Erchonia’s cold laser light would help.
Leo July 21–August 22
After too much time with groups you seek retreat. Sitting amidst your Sun are emotions from the past providing you with considerations of forgiveness which heals and liberates. Gratitude follows forgiveness. It’s important to value every person, event and occurrence in your life. When this occurs, a vital life force fills you up and all restrictions and obstructions disappear.
Virgo August 23–September 22
As you begin new endeavors, enter them slowly; resting along the way so your physical body, emotions and mind can restructure fresh thoughts, ideas, and realities. You are in a state of reorientation, where original values and resources can emerge from deeply gestating spiritual sources. A new two-year cycle begins. Build a newer, more encompassing Vesta box.
Libra September 23–October 22
You move slowly from home to work and back again, attempting adequate time for both. Deep emotions (Pluto) call you home while new information is available at work. Both comfort. Daily life seems veiled, yet happy, with realities ever-shifting. At times, you’re stretched out on a cross, attention called in four directions? Only the angels of the four directions are consistent. Do you know what they are saying?
Scorpio October 23–November 21
Try not to be too harsh when communicating about people’s lives. Maintain ethics and kindness within the constant variations of reality. Your values have shifted so now you’re evaluating communications. This is good. Home becomes a new reality where you seek comfort with small groups. A wound seems to come out of nowhere. Don’t worry about these strange occurrences. They are really normal in times of reorientation.
Sagittarius November 22–December 20
You want a light to focus on the depths of your experiences with money and resources. Questions appear concerning what you value. It’s good to create a list of values concerning all aspects of life; personal, political, public, possessions, people. Who do you value? And why? What do you value, in terms of relationships and communication? And why? Your “other” self needs to be discovered and so these questions are posed.
Capricorn December 21–January 20
An illumination, a fruition, a completion and then a new beginning occurs at the new moon. Do you (like Libra) feel stretched upon a cross, called in four directions? This is all very difficult. Acknowledge all four realities. Place an angel at each of the four directions. Stand at the center of the cross and willingly, intelligently and lovingly direct from there. The angels speak these words: purity, dedication, love and service.
Aquarius January 21–February 18
Careful with money. Keep track of it. Careful with communication. Helps others with it. Careful where you live. Nurture yourself within it. Careful driving. Stay focused at all times. Each day seems filled with responsibilities, tasks, errands to create comfort and nurturance. A dreaminess seems to permeate your combined resources with others. Attempt to be less strict and more conciliatory.
Pisces February 19–March 20
Soon you’ll be asked to step more into the world you’re your special abilities. This will awaken a new state of self-identity and your ability to direct, work with and serve others. All of these “others” need nurturing and you’re the one recognized as having the needed nurturing qualities. However, you feel a great tension and unease of not being in the right place. Yet you continue forward. Something will change soon.
