Winner of the Audience Award at this year's Sundance film fest, this sophomore effort by writer-director Jonathan Levine is a coming-of-age comedy set in New York City in the summer of 1994. Josh Peck stars as a guy just out of high school who sells a little weed while waiting for his life to begin. Ben Kingsley co-stars as the doper, ex-Deadhead shrink who exhorts him to sow his wild oats, not suspecting that Peck's character yearns to do just that with the shrink's dreamy step-daughter (Olivia Thirlby). Famke Janssen and Mary-Kate Olsen co-star.
