Christophe Honoré directs this French film about friends and lovers in modern-day Paris coping with love, sex and romance, life and death, unpredictable fate, and redemption. It's also a musical, with a postmodern twist. No big production numbers; the actors do all their own singing (original songs by Alex Beaupain) as the characters reveal themselves. Louis Garrel (The Dreamers), Ludivine Sagnier (Swimming Pool), and Chiara Mastroianni star.

The life and strange times of Dorian "Doc" Paskowitz—a Stanford-educated doctor who chucked it all in the '60s and '70s to surf, advocate organic food, and raise nine surfing children in a 24-foot camper on the beach—is the subject of this fascinating documentary by filmmaker Doug Pray. Paskowitz, now 85, and his wife Juliette embody the benefits of the fitness regime they've preached all their lives, but the toll taken on their "home-schooled" (ie: non-schooled) kids when their idyllic childhood ended and they were forced to make contact with the real world form the film's darker subtext.

Not a sequel to the Ang Lee/Eric Bana Hulk of a few years back, this is an enitirely new attempt to relaunch the series from director Louis Letterier (Transformers). Edward Norton stars as mild-mannered genetic scientist Bruce Banner, who mutates into a not-so-jolly Green Giant whenever he gets riled, and goes on the lam to cure himself before the government can turn him into a weapon. Tim Roth co-stars as a soldier on his trail who gets hold of some of the gene juice to turn himself into an even more ferocious adversary (called The Abomination). Liv Tyler co-stars; Robert Downey Jr. (as Iron Man Tony Stark) and original TV Hulk Lou Ferrigno pop up in cameos.
